Do you need to just get away for a week to unplug from life and connect with the Lord? Then consider coming with us on this year's Be Created Anew Monastic Retreat. This year we will be taking any students currently in grades 8 - 12 for a week-long retreat at Little Portion Hermitage Monastery in Berryville, Arkansas. We will work and pray alongside the monks and sisters at the monastery. In our free time, we will have plenty of time to hike on the monastery grounds, play games, and just relax. We have resumed Masses and we are in need of additional volunteers to help with the usher's duties and light cleaning of the Church after each Mass. These ministries do not take a lot of time, but are a very valuable service! If you are interested in helping, please call the parish office at 269 -983-1575 or email us at [email protected] We can discuss the duties involved and schedule you for the Mass that works best for you.
Since the beginning of April, we have praying the Rosary via Zoom. We host a Rosary ‘meeting ‘ Monday-Saturday at 9:30 am and 7:00 pm. Please contact the Bakers 269-429-1295 for the Meeting ID and password. All are welcome to attend.
Our August First Sunday Rosary will be Sunday, August 2. We will meet outside near the Rosary Garden at our South location. The Rosary starts at 2:00 pm and we pray all 20 decades. The Class of 1970 from Lake Michigan Catholic HS regretfully had to postpone their 50th reunion plans for this year due to COVID -19 restrictions. However, the committee is happy to announce that they have confirmed new dates for their "50th Plus 1," reunion in 2021. Please save the dates of July 23rd and 24th, of 2021.
