The Journey in Faith team at St. Joseph Catholic Church is presenting an afternoon of music, reflection and prayer with Ian Callanan, one of Ireland’s leading composers of liturgical music. The program will take place on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at 3:00 pm and last about two hours. The JIF team is proud to present Callanan who has been involved with liturgical music his entire life and has been composing music for over 25 years. He is an accomplished composer, arranger, score editor, and workshop leader. Ian’s own works are undoubtedly inspired by Ireland’s great music tradition. Much of his music has been used for television and radio broadcasts throughout Europe. This program will be an opportunity for spiritual growth as part of the parish Lenten preparation for Easter.
